SUMMARY:
The Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the successful operations of the Seattle, Washington office. The position requires a high level of ethical and professional conduct in technical and managerial activities. This position reports to the Regional Manager of the Seattle Washington office.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the design and inspection of civil related projects.
- Assists in ensuring that external client focus is top priority of the region, and that systems, processes, and activities that focus on the client at all levels of the region are implemented.
- Responsible for assisting proposal preparation, estimating project costs, contract negotiation, project quality, and project profitability.
- Responsible for assisting in the identifying and cultivating of new business and clients in Washington.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets.
- Oversees the work of junior engineers and technicians.
- Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
- Be active in Technical societies such as; ACEC.
- Be available to attend meetings or events outside of normal working hours.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree and/or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of 10 years experience. The ability to work in a group and coordinate efforts with others and communicate effectively is essential.
