1, 2008—Collins
Engineers, Inc. has acquired Charles Keim &
Associates, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado. Founded in
1993, the firm is a full service civil engineering
firm with broad based expertise in land development.
Their background includes institutional, commercial,
industrial, and residential projects with services
ranging from conceptual design through construction
acceptance, often including project and client program
management. They have successfully designed and
constructed projects principally along the Colorado
Front Range, ski resort areas, and in other western
states.
Collins is pleased to welcome our new colleagues
in Boulder who include:
• Charles Keim, P.E. – Charles (Chuck)
is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado
and Arizona, with Tennessee and Georgia-based experience
as well. He has 40 years of broad based experience
in land development, engineering design, and project
management. This experience includes 5 years in
County engineering and 35 years in private consulting
in Colorado.
• Bruce Hanna, P.E. – Bruce is a registered
Professional Engineer in Colorado, Arizona, Utah,
New Mexico, Nebraska, Wyoming, Washington, and Kansas.
He has over 40 years of experience in environmental
and civil engineering in the public and private
sectors.
• Alex Saltzgaver, E.I.T. – Alex has
7 years of experience in civil engineering site
design and AutoCAD drafting including grading and
drainage, and retaining wall design layout.
Thomas J. Collins, President of Collins, said the
acquisition will allow the firm to “expand
our presence in the region and provide greater value
and resources to our clients.”
