system. Collins’ technically skilled and experienced
engineering personnel provide a full range of bridge management
services, from initial evaluation to preparation of final
design plans and specifications.
Collins
develops new and rehabilitation designs for bridge types ranging
from single span to high level, multi-span structures. Our
engineers are well-versed in designing with a variety of materials,
including steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, and timber
for all types of bridges. They are certified in NBIS methods,
and are seasoned inspectors of bridges, both above and below
water.
Collins is committed to the development of a highly trained
staff. We provide ongoing in-house training on current techniques
and equipment, funding for continuing education, and support
of active involvement in the technical committees of professional
engineering societies. The result: A resourceful, multi-talented
