High Mast Lighting Inspection

Collins now offers a new way to inspect high mast light poles: MastCheckTM, from Utilivations. MastCheck is a vision-based system that inspects the entire pole surface, including slip joints, for potential failure points due to weld cracks and corrosion. The system utilizes the integrated lamp-fixture lowering mechanism of the pole and wireless video technology.

With MastCheck, Collins can provide a complete surface image of a high mast pole in digital format. We can then review the digital inspection record for each pole, capturing and analyzing all cracks, blemishes, dents, and corrosion for location and severity. Once the analysis is complete, a comprehensive inspection report can be generated with all information documented in numeric and graphic format.

MastCheck allows Collins to help our clients know with absolute certainty that their high mast structures are safe, proving it with objective data.
