Dhooli Raj Begins Term as ASCE-IL President
Congratulations to Dhooli Raj as she begins her term as president of the Illinois Section of ASCE.
Dhooli has been involved with ASCE for over 15 years, serving as an officer in the Geo-Institute and the ASCE IL Section Board in various roles culminating with the charge and responsibility of IL Section President in 2017-2018. She is a strong advocate for volunteer activities that encourage math and science education for children, including Engineer’s Week and Future Cities. With this honor, Dhooli becomes the third Collins employee to hold the position, the other two being Tom Collins and Mike Garlich.
Dhooli has been with Collins for almost ten years and is the project manager for a web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) asset management program—Atom. Atom provides a best-in-technology platform for our infrastructure clients. Dhooli is experienced in working with end users to maintain positive communication and schedule during the implementation and change management of new software. Dhooli has also worked in the geotechnical consulting and contracting industry and has design and construction experience on earth retention and deep foundation projects.
Dhooli received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University and her M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering from Purdue.
