Project Overview
The Daniel Boone Bridge over the Missouri River is a multi-span continuous girder bridge 1,250 feet long with a 520-foot main span with 13-feet-deep plate girders.
Collins provided design of a temporary “lean-on” bracing to the adjacent truss bridge was used for the main span in order to control the system buckling. Collins also designed temporary falsework for use in the river outside the main channel.
