Mr. Eric Thornley, P.E., S.E., is a highly experienced structural bridge engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, specializing in structural engineering, bridge load rating, and complex bridge inspections. His expertise includes the inspection of highway, aviation, pipeline, and railroad bridges across the U.S. and Canada using advanced techniques and technology.
Mr. Thornley received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He earned his master’s of structural engineering from Norwich University. He is also a leader in the field of industrial rope access, serving as Chair of the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians’ (SPRAT) Industry-Specific Committee. As Acting Regional Manager for Massachusetts, he is responsible for operations in Massachusetts, ensuring that contractual obligations are fulfilled and clients’ goals are exceeded.
