Jonathan Sigman has nearly 20 years of experience with structural design, inspection, and construction administration for buildings, bridges, and waterfront structures. As Regional Manager of Collins’ offices in Charleston, SC, and Savannah, GA, Jonathan provides leadership and cultivates new business in the Southeast.
Jonathan has prepared design and renovation construction documents for steel, concrete, and timber bridges, as well as steel and concrete piers and bulkheads. He has also prepared construction and renovation documents for steel, concrete, masonry, and timber framed buildings. Jonathan’s experience includes design of high rise, office, retail, residential, and specialty structures, as well as addition of floors to existing structures. He has significant experience with design and assessment of structures in seismic and hurricane zones.
Jonathan currently serves as an instructor for the NHI course Engineering for Structural Stability During Bridge Construction and previously served as an adjunct professor at Washington University and the University of Missouri-St Louis. Jonathan was named one of the “Top 20 Under 40” by ENR Southeast and one of Structural Engineer magazine’s “Rising Stars in Structural Engineering” in 2013.
