Jordan Furlan has nearly 15 years of experience with structural design, inspection, and construction administration for bridges, overhead sign structures, and waterfront structures. As Regional Manager of Collins’ office in Boise, Idaho, Jordan provides leadership and cultivates new business in the Northwest United States.
Jordan joined the Collins team in 2008 as an engineer-diver and has since performed thousands of underwater structural inspections using commercial diving techniques and employing various acoustic imaging systems. His experience also includes routine/fracture critical bridge inspections, climbing inspections of ancillary highway structures, construction management/inspection, and managing design projects.
Jordan has significant experience in the use of ultrasonic measuring and flaw detection equipment, dye penetrant, magnetic particle, and timber and concrete coring devices. He has performed routine and emergency inspections above and below water, and forensic inspections for a multitude of structure types. Due to his extensive inspection background, he is fully acquainted with all means of above- and below-water access and has considerable training in project safety measures.
Jordan’s capabilities are supplemented by being NDT Level II Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing certified. Jordan is also an ADCI Air Diving Supervisor and an FAA licensed UAS pilot.
