Drew Garceau is Collins’ Director of Facility and Infrastructure Preservation and works closely with Collins’ offices, inspection staff, and clients nationwide.
Drew joined the Collins team in 2004 as a co-op student while attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since then, Drew has performed and managed inspection projects in more than thirty states specializing in difficult access inspection projects including work at height requiring rope access and climbing techniques, underwater, and other unique conditions. His capabilities are supplemented by being a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and NDT Level II Ultrasonic Testing certified. Drew is certified to the highest level—Level III—by the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT). He is also a PADI diver.
As Collins’ Director of Facility and Infrastructure Preservation and Rope Access Group Leader, Drew stays current with advancements in inspection technology to continually improve Collins’ deliverables to our clients. He routinely works with managers and inspection staff throughout the country to provide advanced training and assist in new business development. Drew leads Collins’ structural assessment programs at multiple refinery facilities. He actively participates in American Petroleum Institute (API) and SPRAT committee meetings relating to structural inspection. Drew is a certified instructor for the National Highway Institute (NHI) and regularly teaches courses on structural inspection.
