INTERNSHIPS/CO-OPS
Collins’ internship program provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate and graduate civil and structural engineering students to be introduced to a variety of consulting engineering disciplines, and to gain hands-on experience performing meaningful work related to their academic course work.
Students also experience personal and professional growth by working as part of a team; learning to appreciate the importance of policies and procedures in the workplace; and building skills for recording, organizing and managing information.
Full-time civil and structural engineering internships are available during the summer at various regional office locations. In addition, a number of part-time positions are offered during the school year. From time to time internships are also available in our accounting, marketing, IT, and human resources departments.

Collins knows this and doesn’t take client relationships for granted, continuously working on improving the ability to meet each client’s specific needs.
Since every client is different, Collins’ staff works to identify the project delivery methods and processes that work best for each client. While Collins’ standards create a good baseline for successful project delivery, this process may need to be adjusted depending on the client and the project type. The only way to know for sure is to ask, so we’re constantly working on fine-tuning our performance for maximum benefit to the client.
