Water Cofferdams

Collins has designed a variety of in-water cofferdams for bridge foundations, dam construction, pump stations, outfalls, and other structures.

Cofferdams have ranged up to 1200 ft. x 90 ft. in plan with depths to 87 feet. Designs have included effects of current, scour, and impact. Seal designs have been provided as well as special details for cofferdams on rock, or sealing to adjacent structures.
