Michael Schneider, a resident of Beaumont, Texas, has spent the last seven years working on many port and industrial projects on the Texas Gulf Coast. As Regional Manager of Collins’ Port Arthur office, Michael is responsible for client relationships, projects, and operations for Collins’ activities in Texas and Louisiana.
Michael has worked in the petrochemical and shipping industry in the Golden Triangle area affording him the ability to be very active in the engineering community, including as a board member of both his Texas Society of Professional Engineers and American Society of Civil Engineers chapters.
Michael received his bachelor and master of science degrees from Manhattan College, and had the opportunity to work as both a design and field engineer on many high-profile projects in the New York City area including the World Trade Center recovery and rebuilding; the Barclay Center in Brooklyn; 432 Park Avenue; and several other bridges, high rise buildings, and stadiums.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys expanding his knowledge and skills in his many hobbies including fishing, horseback riding, and scuba diving.
