Peoples Gas, Chicago DOT, and Collins’ Project Coordination Office closely collaborate with all stakeholders operating in Chicago’s right-of-way in order to achieve cost savings and improved mobility throughout the city. This presentation will discuss the magnitude of the Peoples Gas System Modernization Program and Chicago’s Capital Program, both of which are major drivers of infrastructure coordination throughout the city. These programs prove the importance of implementing aligned and transparent processes across public and private organizations, as well as the critical role of technology in an effective project coordination process.
